People do not come to my house for the food.  And that's the simple truth.

She's so pretty, cooking in her kitchen.  That's not me.

I'm not known as an "exemplary cook" even though I really do enjoy the act of cooking.  Most of the time I serve edible meals, as evidenced by my robust, healthy children.  I wish I cooked better, especially since my son is somewhat of a foodie.  Sorry, Junior.  Despite evidence to the contrary, I'd like to think that my husband keeps Pepto-Bismal on his desk because he likes the color and the taste.  And, in the name of full disclosure, it's only been once or twice, at the most, that visitors have sought medical care after eating my meals (good thing the hospital is a stone's throw away).
